Why claim your Vioscale profile (and what you control)

We index and publish a profile for a product whether or not the vendor is involved, because the whole point is an independent record buyers and AI can trust. But claiming your profile, which is free, gives you real control over how you are represented. Here is exactly what it does, and what it does not.

What claiming gives you

• Correct the facts. If we have a stale price, a wrong integration, or a missing certification, you can fix it directly instead of emailing us.
• Add depth. Structured pricing with per-tier features, an FAQ answered from your own documentation, and media (logo, screenshots, a demo video) that we verify against your own site before it publishes.
• Set country availability. Tell buyers and AI where your product is actually sold.
• Control your AI representation. Because assistants read our structured facts, a complete, accurate profile is the most direct way to shape what AI says about you.

What claiming does NOT do

Claiming never changes your rank, and no payment ever changes your rank.

Our score is a transparent, confidence-weighted blend of independent signals. Vendors can correct their listing, but they cannot buy placement, and stars-style vanity metrics count for little. That independence is the reason AI can trust the data in the first place, so we protect it. You can read the full scoring method and see every signal that feeds a score.

How verification works

You prove you control the product’s domain (a quick email or DNS check), and then you can edit. Vendor-added depth is checked against your own public site before it goes live, so the record stays evidence-based even when it is vendor-authored.

Why bother

A complete profile is what an assistant reaches for when a buyer asks about your category, and the citation links back to you. Outbound clicks to your site carry a referral tag so you can see the traffic. Claiming takes a few minutes and is free.
