Vioscale is an independent, evidence-based software catalogue designed to be read and cited by AI assistants. If your product is not listed yet, or its profile is thin, here is how listing works and how to get yours added or improved.

How products get indexed

We discover products from public, willing sources: package registries (npm, PyPI), public code hosts like GitHub, and developer-community signals, plus the vendor’s own public website for facts like pricing, integrations, and security certifications. Every value we store carries a link to the source we observed it on, the date, and a confidence band. We index discrete facts, not reviews, and we never copy review-site content.

Our crawler is a polite, identifying bot that honours robots.txt and only reads pages it is allowed to. If your site blocks automated access, we simply do not crawl it, which can leave your profile thin.

Why a profile might be thin, or missing

  • Your site blocks crawlers, so we could not read your pricing or security pages.
  • Key facts live only inside a JavaScript app or behind a “contact us” wall.
  • The product is new or niche and has not surfaced in the public signals we discover from yet.

We only publish a profile once it clears a minimum evidence bar. A product we cannot source enough facts about stays unpublished rather than going live half-empty, so the fastest way to a complete, public profile is to make your own facts readable and then claim it.

The fastest path: claim it

Claiming is free, and it lets you fill in exactly what we could not source automatically: structured pricing, an FAQ, media, and country availability. If your product is not in the catalogue at all yet, use the contact form to tell us, and start the claim once it appears.

Make your product easy to index

  • Publish pricing as real, current facts on a crawlable page.
  • Keep a security or trust page listing your certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • List your integrations somewhere public.
  • Do not block honest, robots-respecting crawlers.

Everything we hold is transparent and verifiable: see how we score and how AI consumes the data.
